GuoJing (郭婧), is a picture book author, painter and illustrator artist. She is known by her wordless picture book <The Only Child>, which has been received several international awards. In 2015, it made the year-end best books lists at New York Times, Publishers Weekly, The Wall Street Journal and USA Today. In 2016, <The Only Child> was honored as a Notable Children’s Book by the American Association for Library Service to Children. Her picture book has been published in 11 languages.
Guojing has worked in game and animation industry as a concept artist, she is now working full-time on her new wordless picture book <Stormy: A STORY ABOUT FINDING A FOREVER HOME> which will publish in 2019 USA.
